Well, yes. It just wasn't meant to be. She had a few better single options and the video has no replay value. I actually don't think the song is that bad (It sounds like it could've been classic material if she sang it differently), but it just wasn't single worthy. She'll get it right with the next era
People saying that they are dissapointed that she choosed this song are dumb, this is one of the few tracks I really like of her album, this and Father, I think another reason is that it was the right thing to do because I doubt her label would give her anymore budget to film more videos watching the video of confidence you can see how low her budget was they literally spend it in hiring Robert Rodriguez and that famous actress (i dont remember her name, but i know she is really famous) so it was okay she did Stone cold a single and it was her only chance to be nominated for a grammy which I doubt she will get a nomination since the grammys only nominate songs that entered hot 100.

It was heavily promoted (although most of the performances in the OP happened BEFORE the song was even announced as a single). I like the song, but I think it's just wasn't meant to happen. Also, the timing was wrong. All that promo even before the song was sent to radio. Such a waste. At least it gave her exposure and she got a lot of praise for her vocals (outside of ATRL, of course).
The public just ain't here for her or the song. Her tone isn't the most pleasant to listen to and that's the most important thing to me. I mean, my dog has 6 octaves, it doesn't mean that he sounds good.
