Idk why Scott is making him go country. He doesn't have a country voice. I would actually like to see him go the JT route. He would sound amazing and could be somewhat successful

I totally agree with Scott's plan mainly two reasons:
1. Scott is good in breaking country acts and it's much easier to break into the country scene than other genres(look at Taylor, Cassadee, Thomas, ETC)
2. Trent's voice is soooooo country with soul/rnb, it's not like Scott's forcing him to have a country twaang
He has said in multiple interviews that his album will be country/soul, I'm sooo stoked!
