Rolling in the deep and chasing pavements are far better records than hello. Secondly I don't hate Adele. I hate the fact that a basic song like hello was able to hit #1.... It was a hype #1. It wouldn't have been #1 under any other conditions.
Pandas is this years breakout song from a relatively unknown artist much like Rolling in the deep was... But it had even less promotion than rolling in the deep.
I'm sick of people trying to discredit songs that are hits based on word of mouth and the fact that people actually like the songs enough to listen to them over and over again without corporate radio exposure.
