Outside of "sHe" this album is a mess and tries so hard to be something it just isn't. It's forgettable af and there aren't any hits outside of Pillowtalk and She.

It's a shame Zayn has gone missing for a third week I do think someone needs to have a firm talk with Zayn. People need to buy into the artist as a whole not just the songs quality; Zayn ATM is just a voice on the radio... The GP haven't got to know him. They know only 2 things: gigi and 1d.

I wonder if they are trying to push model Zayn over singer Zayn. I'm sorry but Kris 2.0 unsettles me. It's a shame he got involved with that family. I remember seeing a few candids the night before iHeart, and it worried me on how depressed he looked.

The album has climbed back up to 22 on iTunes. I think a member of his team says that he has a busy schedule in the coming weeks, so hopefully this could help a bit. lol

The music is great. It's a great debut album and he's proved he's a force to mess with if he'd promote. The best tracks are Tio, Rear View, Drunk, Bright, Befour, and Borders.

I just think the album deserves better. Everyone needs to promote- even those just dropping mixtapes.sales I can live with, I just cannot fathom dropping a full feature album and practically remaining silent for 3 weeks. If he wants people to hear his music he needs to promote it. If he doesn't even his "core fanbase" will get tired and move on. After getting his #1s, Zayn made it clear a solo career was appealing to him.

There was a strong start and Zayn was networking - these days he only hangs with Gigi. He needs to stop putting his love interests before his career or at least find a happy medium because you won't find many females willing to put their careers on hold for him.

In the end, let's be honest. This is what Zayn wanted to put out and he didn't care about sales that much. He's proud of himself if he reaches an achievement (Pillowtalk's sales) but he's not gonna lose sleep over it. I think he just wanted the truth out there and that's all. Obviously I'm not Zayn, but it's obvious he doesn't care that much about promoting - never mind he's a nervous guy and it's pretty obvious. I imagine it was easier in 1D because he didn't have to talk a lot since the main focus of the band was one of the other boys (idek who but I know it wasn't Zayn )

I'm as frustrated as you are but I only want him happy and if how it's going is making him happy, I'm not gonna be the stan to yell at him in twitter comments (just giving an example - idk if you do that). Literally every post you post about him is not promoting and how annoying it is. Like, we get it. That's my two cents though.

At the end of the day, he released a solid record and the public will never open their eyes because he's always gonna be Zayn Malik: a member of One Direction. I say **** them, they'll discover his music soon. I wonder how his contract goes though...

Zayn strikes me as a confidence based artist. I hope this doesn't discourage him. Very few albums will hold up well without promo. He isn't Adele. Even Riri is struggling sales wise without promo. Sadly trash like Dan Wootton has seized upon this in his regular write up of negative articles.

The promo doesn't even need to be T. V based. He could create a comfortable environment for himself and invite the tv host to interview him ala the Bradford City stadium interview with Zane. He could run a contest for a fan to interview himand upload it onto YT. He could do several performances on YT and then have vids explaining his thought process when he was writing the tracks; he could have an #askzayn session; another periscope, etc.

I don't think the sales are that bad when you consider both the sales climate and circumstances. I do feel it's unfair to compare them to Purpose and 1d album sales when you consider those were heavy promotional campaigns.

ITs You should never have been a promo single - nobody seems to like this track it peaked and dropped very quickly. (I like it tho, I think it's pretty and the video aesthetically stunning).

Zayn has a reasonably strong online presence - why not use this to their advantage? Perhaps he could do a live periscope performance of some songs. Something like that would unite the fanbase - at the moment they are split and can't stand each other .I thought it was good initiative for him to hold a preview of his tracks the 1st time. Unfortunately, it exposed the management IMO.

He cares because he's a super fan... Zayn is wrong here. Don't support him in this. He should promote. Lots of fans spend hours trying to catch a glimpse of him. None of them wants him to deliberately flop

We all know the album deserves to sell much more than it is selling right now but writing essays on an online forum won't help Zayn and his team realise they need to do something about it. At this point y'all are just saying the same crap over and OVER again and it won't affect anything so just give up and enjoy the great music we got.

The only thing his team are doing is telling people to request PT because it's still gaining spins and no further information is provided. And Zayn has gone MIA except with Gigi (this in particular annoys me). I bet he pops back up when M.o.M is out of the charts. He's going to go ghost until the Wango Tango in May 20th.

I know I'm writing a lot of essays but I am very disappointed in all parties, and I don't want to harass Sarah. Radio also tend to be reluctant to play tracks from artists who "flop"
