What are some things that happened in the past decade that you thought would never happen? Not in the million years?? I'll go first, in no particular order.

Who would have ever thought that an American Idol loser will go on to become an Oscar winning actress?? When i heard of her shooting Dreamgirls, i dismissed it as another "singer trying to become an actress" gimmick. Boy was I wrong. She did a great job!
The Tragic Death of Michael Jackson.
Never in a million years would I have thought that 2009 would see the death of King of Pop. We all knew he was gonna die eventually cause everyone does, but not this soon.
The fall of Lindsay Lohan.
I really thought that after the cult classic Mean Girls, Lindsay will go on to have a very successful acting career. Never would I have thought that she'd be struggling to get work and fading so soon. Honestly I doubt she can make a comeback, but who knows.
Reese Witherspoon winning Best Actress Oscar.
I think this is the worst mistake that the Academy has ever made. She won over Felicity Huffman, who gave a once in a lifetime performance and deserved that oscar million times more than Reese. Worst Mistake ever!

When i first saw Hannah Montana, never in a thousand years would I have thought she'd become such an overnight phenomena.
The Failure of WaMu
Never in my life would I have thought that one of the lagest financial institutions in US would fail and go down so fast. Of course, I have never thought that we'd see another Great depression either.
Feedback Flops!
When i first heard Janet's Feedback i was sure it was gonna mark her return to the industry and top the charts. It was truly a hot track. I never thought it would be over so quickly and drop so hard.
The Pwnage of SuBo
Who would have thought that this woman could be such force in the music industry. It is shocking to me that shes selling over 500,000 copies every week. Makes me wonder who buys her albums? With hardly any promotion, shes already sold over 6 million copies of her album. I am certain that in 2010, she will disappear. I just dont see her having the same success again.

I knew that eventually, Xtina was going to venture into acting just like many of her peers. But never in my life did i think she was going to share the big screen with the Legendary Cher. This is heaven for all the gays out there and i cant wait to see how this turns out.

When i first heard of Tyra becoming a host of her own tv show, i dismissed her and I never thought it was going to not only last for this long, but also win an Emmy. I never took Tyra seriously and I am sure i aint the only one. But she proved to be a more than a pretty face.
