It definitely didn't backfire. I know everyone here loves Bernie. I knew the response I was going to get. This isn't one of Bernie's policies, you can take it at more than face value.
Dead. But his way of winning the nomination always didn't include New York. He said as long as she doesn't get 2383 in pledged delegates by convention time (regardless of popular vote, states won, etc) he was gonna peel all of the supers away from her and win that way. He technically doesn't need any state left to do that
He'd NEVER win that way but that's what his campaign is saying
They can't be serious. What's Bernie going to do? Get the mafia and threaten each of the superdels?
It's kinda frustrating how Bernie isn't raising money for the democrat party overall. If you want to increase chances of your plans surviving in congress wouldn't it be logical to try and fill in as many seats as possible with Democrats? Plus the way he has spoken negatively of the party sure isn't going to do him any favors in the future.

He claimed that have the supers vote with "the will of the people". He may not mean popular vote because he'd lose that surely. So he may mean have the supers vote alongside the state he won. Even then he wouldn't overtake her in delegates but by then he said electability arguments will persuade the rest into joining him

He isn't a Democrat. Why would he raise money for the Party?
