Honeymoon is her best album. UV tries way too hard. It wants to be this misunderstood tragic artsy masterpiece soon bad. And it has some of her most obnoxious vocal performances. Honeymoon has better vocals and far better lyrics, and the topics don't deviate too hard from standard lana but she does have some more interesting ideas. And the melodies throughout>>>>>
UV ultimately had my attention more than HM. I really don't see it as pretentious. Some lyrics are kinda iffy, but I don't take them too seriously. It was also more consistent for me. The first bunch of HM tracks were a disappointment and something I didn't really want from her at the time.

freak is the only dud on honeymoon. everything else is really solid for me
