Most black people today weren't salves. Why would I be compensated for a time I didn't live through. Next thing you know every race is going to be seeking compensation for the struggles that those before them of their race faced. We don't live in a perfect world. Yes slavery has effected the world we live in today but throwing money around isn't going to help fix the problem. Their is a lot of work to be done in the black community but hush money would only cripple us even more.
