'Powerpuff Girls' and 'Teen Titans Go!' crossover updates: The girls will visit Jump City to team up with Teen Titans
Superhero squads of "Powerpuff Girls" and "Teen Titans Go!" will find themselves in a crossover on Cartoon Network this June. The trio will be dropping by Jump City to fight side-by-side with the Teen Titans. The two groups of crime fighters will also find themselves in a "good-natured competition" against each other to be able to see which superhero team is "better."
"Jump City will never be the same when our little superheroes Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup meet up with the Teen Titans for the very first time. When these two worlds of superheroes collide, it will surely be something to remember," "Powerpuff Girls" executive producer Nick Jennings said, as reported by USA Today.
I totally agree with the comment above : 90s kids don't like when you rehash their childish memories... That reminds me of Sailor Moon Crystal : everybody was like "OMG this isn't like the original anime".
The reboot got an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Short Form Animated Program.
And it was renewed for Season 2 today. Hopefully season 2 will be better.
