I thought this was common sense. The UK mingled way more with other countries and ancestries whereas Scandinavia kept more to themselves comparatively.

Scandinavia is ethnically and culturally homogenous whereas England is of mixed heritage. It's like the melting pot of Europe.

Yep. Also as someone said it's on the same latitude as The NLs/Germany and it's really close to France/Belgium
