Denmark's latitude can be compared to Scotland, but this is the lower limit of being Nordic.
Nordic countries are closer to the North Pole and have worse than Central European (e.g. Polish) winter conditions. The coldest part of the UK is like the warmest part of the Nordic countries.
Going to England doesn't make you feel like having to use studded tyres with steel spikes (it's illegal), meeting moose, elk, wolves, artic foxes, bears,... and seeing northern lights.
And the Vikings went to the UK and all the way down to Paris. The French gave the Vikings land (Duchy of Normandy) to be left alone by them.
