They have a cute lil' monopoly on publishing. They're basically responsible for Zara Larsson happening worldwide.
It's not much, but hits aren't the only thing that keep a label functioning. Songwriting, producing.
Although most of their revenue comes from hits, as investors will want to invest in a company that has good PR, and is able to produce quality, chart topping work. Why invest in a label that has had 2 hits since 2014? They're probably just losing some funding and need to downsize accordingly.
It's interesting to see the ripple effects of Kesha's claims. Luke's reputation is truly ruined.
