16. I moved to my first boyfriend 2 hours away from my parent and later to Berlin on my own. Lived on the streets, met some interesting people and got my **** together pretty soon tho.
I dunno I moved out at 21 but then moved back in with mum at 23 when me and my ex spilt..i cant live on my own im gonna find a guy to move in with haha.
It is way WAY too expensive to live on your own in Australia.
Haven't done it yet. It's really hard to do that here in Mexico considering how high the rents are and the bad economical situation we're going through
18, I moved out of my parents' house for college. But I wouldn't really call it "on my own" since I was (and still am) financially dependent on my parents.
if your parents support you even though your not living under their roof, I'm sorry but you are not moved out, including living in college dorms. I consider moving out when you are responsible in full for all your expenses, rent, gas, food, phone, electricity, water etc. I was able to do it @ 21.
I also feel horrible for those parents who let their kids use their homes as a best western whenever they can't handle the real world.
