Ms. Swift leads the pack with an estimated annual income of $80 million, thanks to her last album, coinciding tour and all the other business deals she's made (you know, like a contract with Coca-Cola).
Interestingly enough, Parade estimates Gordon Ramsey falls in second place behind her, ringing in an estimated $60 million
Lady Gaga falls closely behind Ramsey with an estimated $59 million. Though she only did minimal touring over the last year (alongside Tony Bennett for Cheek to Cheek), she's appeared in several film and television roles as well as hit it big with one-off gigs like singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.

Is this what they've earned so far in 2016, or in all of 2015 (I'm guessing all of 2015?). I'm inevitably overlooking it somewhere but I can't find a clear start and end date for the period they're tracking. Because surely Taylor would have earned more than that?

Yeah this isn't accurate to what Forbes will report. Taylor should be well over $100M with a $250M grossing tour plus album sales. And listing Gaga's national anthem in the criteria makes no sense since artists don't get paid to perform at the SB.
I don't think this is accurate, but Gaga did have that Shiseido deal, AHS, the tour, and investments to keep her money up. I see her being around the number Parade posted but for different and more accurate reasons.
It's kind of weird tho, those are literally their same numbers from last year (Taylor 80 and Gaga 59), but if those numbers were from last year, then Katy would be number 1. Weird.
