For those of you dont know, DMT is a naturally occurring molecule found in a small gland called the pineal gland in the human brain. It's also found in hundreds of plants and fungi. Though it is produced in the human body, our brains can't make heads or tails of it, and any description of its effects is likely not very accurate because it is beyond the realm of human comprehension.

It's thought that our brains secrete small amounts of DMT when we dream, causing slight psychedelic effects. It's also thought that during near death experiences, our body sends out a burst of DMT to create a feeling of safety. Its synthesized form is the strongest hallucinogen in the world and is thought to be 100x more powerful than acid, thoough this statistic is iffy (I've never done acid so idk).

Someone who isn't me ( ) tried it last night, and just I don't even know where to start. I could try to explain it I guess, If you guys want, but it's hard cause it was like my brain was being filled with thousands of details every second. It was like feeling every emotion you've ever felt.

Hav you ever tried it? Know someone who has? What are your thoughts on the conspiracy theories surrounding DMTT (~80% of people who experience a DMT trip report seeing some kind of extraterrestrial being, leading some people to believe it is illegal for greater reasons. It could very well just be our mind playing tricks on us, but it's definitely weird.)

I am, it's non addictive and lasts for like 6-7 minutes, but it feels like 6-7 hours.

I just recently tried it, and while it gave me some pretty interesting visuals (Like the spotted design on my bedsheets swam around, and my celling has the bubbly paint and I'd see it bubble and move around), the effects on my head and body were kind of unpleasant, like my body got kinda numb and tingly along with my head, and it made my thoughts go a mile a minute and it made me really irritated, which I also didn't like, but maybe it's just me.. Also, the taste and smell repulses me so bad, it's so chemically. I only had one good trip from it, and since then it hasn't been anything that I can say I enjoyed, but the one good trip I had was insane, but I didn't see any kind of beings or anything like that

Wait, so It only lasts for 6-7 minutes and then you're fine? I kinda want to try it after reading your stories
There's a part of me that truly think that drugs are actually a way for us to wake up and see the world for what it really is, instead of what's being presented for us to believe.

always wanted to try it

I just read some stuff online and it blew my mind. The possibilities. I'm dying to try it now and experience it. But I'm also very afraid.

I REAALLLLLLLLLLLY wanna have an Ayahuasca experience. I have had numerous out of body experiences on Molly, so I can only image how much deeper down the rabbit whole this will take me. For some it helps find a deeper spiritual connection with your soul, which what I'm searching for.

Some trips last as long as 15 minutes, but yes they're very short. Understand though that when you breakthrough, there is absolutely no concept of time. I felt like I was gone for 10 years.

That last part is 100% true. I can't explain how really, but it was a very enightening experience, and you come back with this feeling of unity

That's another thing, you wanna be in a good places mentally when you take it. If your mind is cynical and depressing you will have a bad trip

Anyway, I never tried DMT before and I don't really want to. I'm open to the experience (just like any drug really) but psychedelics freak me out because you're not yourself anymore and have no control over your own body and thoughts (at least from what people who have experience told me)

Did you find that you felt negative in any way? Or afterwards. The thought of having no concept of time is really freaky to me tbh

set and setting is really the key to every single drug use imo, I don't have the biggest experience but every single time it turned out to be the case.

Just did some more research and jfc, this is all so intersting. It really begs a lot of questions about existence, afterlife, dreams etc.
