This bitch did the Superbowl, teased a song in a Pepsi superbowl commercial, teased ANOTHER song in her H&M commercial, rumors were swirling for all the music videos she was filming and we did not get one thing from her until THE END OF THE YEAR. And to be honest, she really started hyping that era in 2012 but we're not gonna get into that too much.
This isn't as bad because we actually have Formation, so we know there's work being done, it's not nearly as dry as it was in 2013.
Anti was actually worse than the 2013 thirst for Bey, but I didn't really care after BBHMM, I was like "okay, thanks for the bop, you can KEEP the rest" (because who needed AO and FFS in their lives) but the album turned out to have some more bops so good for her.
But since there were two singles that featured her in the past 7 months, I'd say 2013.
