Hilary Duff causes controversy w/ school drop off outfit

Of course, commenters lent their two cents on Duff’s look, with reactions ranging from supportive (“love the outfit!) to negative (“You call this cute?!? A lady of class and substance wouldn’t be caught wearing this,”) to underwhelmed (“I’ve worn this so many times without picking kids up or dropping them off. Ain’t nothing new Hil.”)
"Pretty sure we wouldn't be allowed in the school to drop off or pick up our kids if we wore this!" one commenter said.
"Um sweetie you have no pants on," another said.
Seems as if the threat of being judged as a parent for your attire – even when you’re well beyond your school days – is a real thing.
Hilary Duff seems to be pleased enough with her look.
She’s a grown woman, working and taking care of her child, so she should feel free to dress however she wishes to – even if she is just wearing Lululemon pants.
Poor them.
