Yeah
I've only listened to a couple of K-Pop songs back in 2007 and been keeping tabs ever since, but I've only really gotten into it fully around 2014 because I haven't really liked western pop music since then.

Yeah, I love kpop (and jpop, too), but I wouldn't say it's any better or worse than Western pop.
