She's singing something that it makes her feel good, she's still promoting her "grown-classical" artist thing which is working while she's finishing her album which for the first time we know nothing still..what's the problem with that and why should be scared releasing because of ARTPOP?

Truly the Queen of jazz

Y'all care about what she sang instead of how much she slayed during the performance. Her rendition of La Vie En Rose tonight was untouchable besides the greats' long gone. She sang like 5 songs, even when she didn't have to. Only because she was genuinely humbled by the honour.

Her speech was also so important, considering the current state of music.

Some of you guys need to chill, this was a luncheon where she was being honored with an award. She didn't have to perform at all, but she did, and some jazz songs were perfect to perform at an event like this.

She's going to start the next Pop era when she's ready, and at an opportune time.
