This is no shade to Rihanna or any other artist per se; rather, it's an attack against streaming and its uselessness in determine popularity. Most of the songs people listen to through streaming are not necessarily the most demanded. No, Spotify manipulates playlists so certain songs get played more when a person shuffles a playlist. Okay, that's just speculation but it's possible that it could happen, which is the problem.

Girl.. Work will still still be top 10 on Sales this week. Like it has been for its entire chart run.

* Billboard adds track sales and streams from songs before an album's release, so an album released in 2016 like Zayn's that had hits selling and streamed pre-album release will actually have a higher total.

Didn't they say that "New Romantics" was up 62-61?
I really don't understand how it only climbed up one spot.... like seriously?!?!
I know it's severely low on streaming, but it's doing well on radio and great in sales. It should be at least top 50 by now, bare minimum, or at least top 40 (in mid 30's high 40's).

Doesn't it have 0 streaming because it's not even up on Apple Music?...the only way it could get streaming points is if there was a lyric video or an mv...unfortunately it seems like that won't happen.

It has been pretty stable on radio because it is about to peak on pop. Today, it's at 48.248M AI, while it had 47.516M a week ago. Fairly sure its sales stayed the same this week too.

Kanye SLAYING the Spotify charts
I hope Famous becomes a real hit The Taylor line is terrible but other than that the song is amazing.
Also, MESS @ Panda and Pt. 2 being right next to each other on the chart when they're basically the same song

I doubt it'll be the 4th biggest song of 2016 + most streamed song of the year.
You guys keep drawing these Harlem Shake, Trap Queen, and Gangnam Style comparisons which were huge record breaking milestones for Streaming lol.
It'll more likely be Hot Boy, Coco, and a Nasty Freestyle type hit with a bit more longevity.

7Y looking to be very close next week!
I think Rih's streaming will be enough to keep her at number one for one more week, unless it completely plummets on radio or something. I am very impressed with 7Y streaming. It really is performing similar to LHG or TOL regardless it's becoming massive it appears

Coco never went Top 10, and Hot Boy and Nasty Freestyle peaked in the lower half of the Top 10, so Panda will definitely be bigger than all three of those songs. It's too soon to put it in the HS/TQ category, but I think it'll be much bigger than the HB/Coco/NF category.

You never know! It's almost right on que with when Trap was starting to get noticed but Panda is growing faster. If Pop radio ever touches Panda, it would be game over and it would easily compare with TQ. Panda has barely any AirPlay yet but it's already gaining strong on urban and rhythmic

Yeah it'll outpeak all 3, but it's more in their lane. A hit that lasted for like 2-3 months, and was an average hit overall.
Trap Queen / Gangnam Style / Harlem Shake were literally breaking records, spending months in the Top 10, and destroyed the charts, and were essentially #1 hits (GS & TQ were #2, but they were bigger on Hot 100 than most #1's). I don't think Panda will be that huge.

Like, it's not really an actual *song* you know. I think it'll do good on Urban/Rhythmic (like Hot Boy / Coco / NF) and then stop there, and will last a quick two or three months as a hot song, then plummet.
I think the song is decent, but it'd be a nightmare if it was as big as Trap Queen.

Famous grew on me a lot, and it hope it becomes a hit (it would be Kanye's 3rd hit this era, after 45S and Panda) but i worry it's too unconventional for the charts
