Wow, Dr Luke's lawyers are clearly making lies up now, because Kesha signed the contract in 2005 and couldn't get out if it. The contract was also for more than 2 albums. This has been known because it was made public, and they didn't even bring it up last month. But now they do?
They are creating new information and saving face.

Your information is wrong. Kesha resigned and extended her contract with Dr Luke many years after the alleged incident.

Kesha not only has no evidence (which she had three days to obtain), but she lied under oath. She was brave enough to accuse him of rape and pursue a case against him but she couldn't tell the truth under oath, something that could be used in her favour to prosecute this evil, evil man that raped and dehumanised her?
People really need to stop getting emotional and consider what's actually going on here. Her patterns are very neurotic and her case against Luke is superficial, hence why his lawyers are clocking her left and right because they know she's full of ****.

Her lying under oath actually makes a lot of sense considering it would've stirred up drama that she wasn't ready for. It would've been so sloppy and unprepared if she accused him back in that deposition. That or he could've been threatening her and obviously there was no way to directly pursue him at the time. What IS worth noting about the deposition is that she said they've made out and slept together.
I could type so much about this case but I'm tired rn and this thread has died down anyway.

This case is only based on her word versus his word. Her word has less value because she contradicted her rape claims under oath. He has the necessary paperwork/proof to win in court and she has only the emotional aspect trying to convince a jury that he should be evil, basically the mudslinging fest, press war, trial by Twitter,...
He can also use her tactics and play dirty by convincing the jury that she cling to him like family when the prospects of success was good and that she only made a U-turn when the success dried up. Thus she is the culprit, the social climber, the leech trying to **** the way to the top and used him.

Nobody knows all the evidence. People have the right to believe kesha and people have the right to believe kesha and people have the right to believe Luke. Whether people like it or not this case is emotional. These types of cases aren't straightforward and people calling kesha a liar just because this case is messy and confusing isn't right. And people like me who can't prove in a court of law that abuse happened find it insulting that people just dismiss kesha because she hasn't always been truthful. She cared about Luke like I cared about mine. And if I had to testify in court and was asked the questions she was asked I would have lied and said nothing happened too. Because it would have torn apart my life and I would be determined to protect myself and my family no matter what the consequences of my perjury would be. You kids don't understand at all because most of you have probably never gone through it and I hope you never do, but kesha's decisions before this all came out make perfect sense to people who have endured what she has. You guys may think you're smart for being "objective" and spewing the "innocent until proven guilty" rhetoric. But put yourselves in an abuse victims shoes. our shoes are full of trauma and damage and PTSD, self hatred and self blame, eating disorders and things you can't even imagine. I believe kesha because it happened to me. Yes my stake in this is purely emotional because this is about rape and abuse, not about a business deal. Kesha signed a contract when she was young and naive. Who isn't when they're 17-18 years old, and poor. I would have signed it too if it meant a house, not having to worry about bills and the next time I would be able to eat. I identify with kesha and no matter what any of you say , you just don't understand. And I'm glad, I wish I didn't understand it either if it meant a normal, healthy childhood.

That's the thing - there's never going to be any defining evidence. And that's the problem with rape cases, you can't "prove" it - but then, do you just let it go? No, and that's why there's a long case going on.
It's sad the reason Dr. Luke won't free her, but it's obviously because if he did people would see it as an admission of guilt.

My childhood bestfriend was raped by her cousin. She lied to me for a whole year, even though i had suspicions. Then when she finally told me she thought that maybe somehow she had brought it on herself. It took me allot of convincing and a couple years later for her to believe it wasnt her fault.
I cant with some of these ppl that are so against her.

People think she's a liar because of her ridiculous actions. It is sad what happened to you, and I'm even more sorry for how you will feel once Kesha is revealed to be a liar. I understand your need to find a public figure to relate to, but Kesha might not be the right one for you, because few believe her for good reasons.

It doesn't even matter that technically there isn't a jury. Both sides act like there is one like in the criminal procedures. It's an American stereotype that law isn't decided on evidence, but on how good lawyers are on giving a person a negative image. It's all about the mudslinging in the courts. People were sent to death row because how demoralized, guilty,... they looked or having the face of a murder, rapist,... A non-white skin colour is enough to ruin your chance and make a jury think you are guilty. Otherwise, they wouldn't even care about the press war.

If there is a lack of evidence on her side that doesn't = her being a liar. How are you so certain she's a liar? Because of a birthday card Luke says she gave him? I have her handwriting in her book she released and it doesn't match. Taking the word of a man that is notorious on Twitter for his unprofessional conduct with the women that have worked with him does not make you an objective observer. And telling me how I am going to feel after this case is over or telling me that I shouldn't support kesha isn't going to do anything. You and every other Luke supporter are only doing so because you think women are nothing but liars and think Luke is "daddy af" and its sad. Plenty of people believe kesha. And plenty of celebs do too. You are not the majority and neither are a bunch of men mansplaining in the comments on tmz
