they got at least one or two million viewers, many of whom were obviously also music fans that would've tuned into the ACMs otherwise!
anyway, no one actually tunes in to award shows to see 3-minute performances by one particular pop star anyway. The difference is the Kats have never claimed that anyone did unlike the Gaga stans who consistently brag about how much of a 'ratings magnet!!!!!' she is (she isn't.)
next year they should get some interesting performers
