His album is also being sold digitally on his site – but for $20 and it's been out for 2 months online so literally only his hardcore dedicated stans would actually buy it. It'll probably do like 10-25K digital copies.

60M streams / 1,500 = 40,000. + digital sale copies = 50-65,000.

He could be a contender for #1 this week if his team is actually trying to report the activity of the album.

It's TIDAL so we don't know what to expect, but they really should. This is the only week it likely has a shot at #1.

Beyoncé and Drake are coming this month, then there will be notable May releases, and obviously his album won't still be pulling this activity by June forward.

i mean despite spotify still growing so much, Hello is the only song to have 2+million Days, the best day was even 2.76 million!
as for WW, the same, it got 7 million, and no other song even had 6 million.

50-65k seems a bit optimistic to me, but we'll see. It's not impossible.

Longest stay at #1 is Take Me To Church (58 days).

Work probably already has the longest streak of days above 1,000,000 (it's probably ~50 right now- I'd have to check).

#1's pulling 1M streams is a relatively new occurrence. Only a few have done it (SYA, WDYM?, DMD for one day, Hello, Sorry, LY, PILLOWTALK, and Work). Note that all but one of those happened within the last 7 months. Spotify is growing quickly!

Can someone tell me how many streams are equivalent to platinum in the US? I know Work is around 75M streams in the US as of now.

1,500 or 1,000 (can't remember) streams = 1 sale, so you would need (1,500 or 1,000 * 1,000,000) = 1.5B or 1B streams to go platinum on streams alone.

I might have misinterpreted your question, though. Was that what you were asking?

i know that 1.500 streams = 1 'Album sale'

I mean for the shake of the songs.

How many streams are needed FOR A SONG to go Platinum on Streams alone

Sorry had 64 days with +1M streams (hope to be correct. Some days of October, all November, some days in December + 1 day in January). I have to check for LY tho, it could be even more.

Work has some chances to break it.
