Every word he said is true. Anyone that disagrees is both blind and delusional. Most of my racist experiences come from other gay men (usually white gays, though obviously they're not all like that).

Us Gays can be very hypocritical. We want acceptance but yet we judge one another on our looks, age, masculinity, femininity, etc.

He's not lying. There are many black people out there that get told they are not "black enough" because they "act white" and not stereotypically black. Same thing goes with gay people.

People are saying as gays we should be a bit more tolerant when it comes to others who don't look like us. It's not that hard a concept to grasp. But due to what was said earlier because we're gay and face discrimination we become blinded to our own hypocrisy as we do our own discrimination.

I mean you'd have to be blind and deaf to not see the casual racism we pull in front of people.

I find this sort of small-minded thinking to be almost as annoying as the racism that Sam is mentioning. You've made your own assumption about Sam's attractions based on one white guy you've known him to date without knowing anything about his personal life otherwise. You are part of the problem he's mentioned.

I'm attracted to the entire racial/ethnic spectrum, but have had a white partner for 11 years and get so sick of encountering Black men like you who make the most vapid snap judgments about me based on my partner. Why does the race of the person someone loves matter in 2016?

Just because he's dating a white man NOW, doesn't mean he's never dated any other color or would never date another color. It's a completely different situation from some racist gay outright rejected every person of any other color/race/ethnicity from now until the end of time.

True, so many gays are racist and really misogynistic
