No. That's usually not how it goes. I've had these kinds of conversation with my friends...
It's more like:
GP Member: "Man, I really like Work. I wonder what the album is like."
Me (fomo): "Eh. I gave it a listen on Spotify, I didn't really like it."
GP Member: "Really? It's that bad? I was hoping it was all island music."
Me: "It's definitely not all island music lol. It's mostly urban. The critics seemed to think it was good. But it's sold like 300,000 copies since it was released."
GP Member: "That sounds pretty good."
Me: "Sure. In this music climate, but for comparison Beyonce, Taylor, Katy, and Gaga's last albums sold that much and more within the first week."
GP Member: "Hmm... Well that interesting."
