Simon Cowell is battling it out with X Factor producers to get his pal Louis Walsh back on the show - and if he succeeds Sharon Osbourne is set to join him.
But if Louis’ return is scuppered, Sharon, 63, will reject the chance to take up a judging role on the ITV show again, say sources.
Even though reports this week claim the former Westlife manager’s return was a done deal, it is in fact far from sorted, says one insider.

“If Louis isn’t back on board, then Sharon won’t be. She likes the idea of the original panel and is very nervous about returning. She will only do so if Louis does too. “Louis is desperate to get back on X Factor and he’s doing all he can to make it happen.”
Cheryl is currently in LA discussing her options with Cowell.
Currently at a crossroads in her life following her divorce from husband Jean-Bernard, Cheryl is said to be keen to return back to her music.
Sources say there have been talks with Nicole Sherzinger - who is said to be keen to return. “Nicole is seen as an able replacement if Rita drops out,”

I doubt Nicole is coming back even if they want her to. Especially if Simon's on the panel. Had he not bullied her throughout the entire season on the US X Factor, she would have shined, exactly like she did in the UK.
She has a lot on her plate right now so I doubt she would even consider going back.
