It's adorable that you think context would matter in a general election. Karl Rove gives no ****s about context, and no amount of hashtag trending will stop the Republican spin machine.
Bernie supporters seem to believe the internet is an arbiter of truth. The internet is in many respects an echo-chamber, with people only seeking content (accuracy be damned) that they already agree with. The ~exposure~ has less to do with Bernie and more to do with Hillary being polarizing figure and those who alreadt don't like her seeking content to confirm their viewpoints. If the internet were truly predictive of anything, after all, Bernie wouldn't be losing terribly.
Clinton's favorables always fluctuate, being lowest when she's running for office and highest when she's dormant. The point is that opinions about her ate pretty much set and aren't going to get much better or worse. Sanders, as far as attacks go, is a sitting duck.
I'm starting to think this is the first elections they've tuned into lol the idea that the Republicans are gonna give a damn about context is hilarious. These are the same folks that dragged a WAR HERO through the mud....Bernie would be a God send to Karl Rove and the Republicans
Wait...so Bernie wants to forgo a debate seen by millions for a rally attended by thousands? I thought he didn't want April 4th because he didn't want to compete with the NCAA title game to ensure maximum viewership?
Berners are really grasping at excuses. Just admit that Bernie doesn't actually want to debate, he just wants to fundraise off his gullible fans by suggesting that Hillary is running scared.
He obviously wants the debate, but Rallies have been an important factor of his campaign. If there is a way for him to get both, he will obviously go for that option.
I mean... they are in a very contested campaign. I'm sure they are both very busy every day. Hillary probably has huge events schedule on the other days. Should she have to cancel her event to be convenient for Bernie?
I'm sure there has to be a date that works for both of them. I hope they can agree to it. Even though I don't care to watch another debate (let's be real, are either of them going to say anything different?)
Hillary doesn't hold huge events like Bernie does, but no neither should have to cancel anything.
It's just funny that her campaign is complaining about him not being able to do three dates when he valid reasons why. She's trying to play the victim like always, even though she's the one that REFUSED to debate in the first place.
The debate will bring exposure to Bernie, so I'm here for it.

Right? Just the TRUTH would be problematic for Bernie. When they actually start lying? LordT.
"B-b-b-u-t CONTEXT!" Nnnn...y'all gon learn (or well, they won't, because Bernie won't be the nominee, but man I wish I could see it).

It's not Hillary's job to help Bernie out. She's already compromised by even having the debate in NY. Now it's Bernie's turn.
I find it funny how Hillary supporters in here say that Hillary will have no problem beating Trump, but Bernie will, even after all the evidence.
I sometimes wonder if this is real life. Republicans could run negative ads on Bernie all year long and his favorable/trustworthy/honesty ratings would still be higher than Hillary's.
So it won't work because you say so, despite there being clips of him explicitly sympathizing with communist regimes?
He's sympathizing with government who, that while in no respect are to be idolized, brought great improvements to economy, democracy, and development when compared to the even more dictatorial regimes that they ousted, like in the case of the Sandinistas:
Quote:
The junta did, though, set out to educate their people in a way the Somoza regime had never attempted. The National Literacy Campaign of 1980 affected one in every two Nicaraguans . The literacy rate rose from 45% to 86% in one of the largest literacy campaigns ever, and the Sandinista government drew international acclaim. In September, 1980, the Minister of National Education, Carlos Tunnermann received the UNESCO Prize. Critics accused the Sandinistas of educating their people with propaganda and attempting to win over the rural proletariat in this way. This was undeniably true in part, but the outcome of this mass campaign was indeed positive.
or Cuba:
Quote:
Castro’s government passed many new laws. Rent was cut for low paid workers by as much as 50 percent and land owned by Batista and his former ministers confiscated. Cuba’s US owned Telephone Company was nationalised and land redistributed among peasants. Morally opposed to racism, drugs, prostitution and gambling, Castro abolished segregation laws in public places such as swimming pools and cemeteries, and passed laws to close down casinos and night clubs. He believed in education for all. In Cuba at this time particularly in poor rural areas, many people were illiterate and children did not attend school. Following the revolution Castro set about changing this. At Castro’s request students travelled to rural areas, teaching people to read and write. Eventually free education was made available to all Cubans. To help improve the health of the young the government introduced a free health service and began a mass inoculation program.
or Grenada (before Maurice Bishop was assasinated)
Quote:
Bishop began to build a close relationship with Cuba after he took power. He initiated a number of projects, most significantly, the building of a new international airport on the island's southern tip (that in May 2009 was renamed in his memory). Financing and labour for the construction of the airport came from Cuba, although most of the airport’s infrastructure was designed by European and North American consultants ... Among Bishop's core principles were workers' rights, women's rights, and the struggle against racism and Apartheid. Under Bishop's leadership, the National Women’s Organization was formed which participated in policy decisions along with other social groups. Women were given equal pay and paid maternity leave, and sex discrimination was made illegal. Organisations for education (Center for Popular Education), health care, and youth affairs (National Youth Organization) were also established.
It's also really interesting how all of these governments overthrew previous unhinged regimes that were supported wholeheartedly by such American luminaries such as Reagan and Kennedy... hopefully Queen Hilary will follow their lead, right?

Bernie's had plenty of exposure. And no, according to her--she's been the one trying to get a date for a debate from the Sanders campaign.... With no response/agreement from them.

The TIME article I posted said that both have suggested dates, so Hillary is wrong.
Cherry-picking is what happens in a GE, Republicans would not afford him the luxury of context.
True, but they are going to cherry pick no matter what. These are the same that call Clinton/Obama socialists. They have written themselves into a corner; they have made their viewers think any slightly liberal position is SOCIALISM!!! While the Democrats debate serious issues and the future of our party, the right is trying to paint us all with the same brush. Most of us know that Clinton and Sanders have fundamental differences. Most of the people that are watching Fox News won't be voting for a Democrats no matter what.

I find it funny that the "evidence" Bernie supporters use is pre-GE polls that are known to be useless this far out, especially given Sanders's lack of vetting.
The last part of something that nobody will ever know.
Compared to Bernie, no. Bernie can get 12-15k+ easily.
The picture I posted earlier is what I'm talking about.
That's the equivalent of people on here posting tour pictures in comparison. Don't fall into ATRL standards of arguing. That picture could easily be before or after the event is over, and I am sure you can find similar pictures of Bernie rallies.
Anyways, that's not the point. When I said huge, I meant important. The number of people doesn't necessarily determine the importance.
can any of ya'll americans sumarize this for me and tell me if hillary is gonna win or not ?
Bernie has won a few caucuses but is about to tie Hillary in Wisconsin and then Hillary is going to win the majority of the remaining primarys... She will be the nominee (she's gonna win).
