Ignore the album cover and this album is real stellar album that will take you to a roller coaster ride. This hot, sexy, fun and adventurous record was not a cup of tea for me at first listen but the uncompromising music withing this album is pure entertainment and that draws me to this album over and over again. This album is one in a million. The album is so Adam Lambert.

Songs For You, Truths For Me
James Morrison

Standout Tracks:
1. Please Don't Stop The Rain
2. Fix Up The World For You
3. Save Yourself
4. Once When I Was Little
5. If You Don't Wanna Love Me

Songs For You, Truths For Me delivered the smoky, distinctive, raw, passionate and soulful style of James Morrison. Morrison injects such intense feeling into his lyrics. This album put James Morrison on top of his game as he go against the status quo.

Rated R
Rihanna
Label: Def Jam
Genre: R&B, pop, hip hop, rock, dubstep
Standout Tracks:
1. Hard
2. Stupid In Love
3. Rockstar 101
4. Fire Bomb
5. Wait Your Turn
|
Rated R shouts that Rihanna is back for revenge. Though this album could forever be tagged as her statement against Chris Brown, there's no doubt that Rihanna's music has grown a lot. This album is brave and is shockingly amazing at all views. Rihanna is probably at her most aggressive state because she delivered every song with much swagger. With this album just turned into a siren.

Echo
Leona Lewis
Label: Sony Music
Genre: Pop, R&B, pop rock
Standout Tracks:
1. Outta My Head
2. Love Letter
3. Lost Then Found
4. I Got You
5. Broken
|
Last year, Leona Lewis topped my top albums with her debut Spirit and this year she's back with album number 11 - Echo. Though Spirit ***** over Echo, this album is still great. Lewis showed more diversity for this album, wherein she soars from a cliche diva to versatile pop superstar.

Brand New Eyes
Paramore

Genre: Alternative rock, pop rock
Standout Tracks:
1. Good Life
2. All The Right Moves
3. Everybody Loves Me
4. Made For You

I'm sad that this is not in my top ten because of though competition. Paramore took me into an unexpected musical experience for this album. It's pure art from start to finish. Flawless.
