What I don't get is that people think Bernie is crossing a line, but then for the GE they say "oh but the GOP has been against Clinton for ages, she's used to it!"

... So?

Am I missing something fundamental here? They're still going to drag her name in the mud and attack her for everything non-policy related, unlike Bernie. They're still going to tarnish her campaign - why does it matter that they've done it before? It's still going to harm her.

The worst part is that Trump has been acting like an outright idiot this whole primary season and HE IS STILL WINNING. When he stoops lower HE WINS. How is Hillary going to be able to combat THAT? Especially if Bernie supports don't vote for her (which, fyi, they aren't obliged to!!!!) - low voter turnout means GOP wins.

But yes, of course Trump is going to be easier to run against than Bernie. Obviously.

Bernie telling the media to talk about politics and the issues facing the country instead of Hillary's emails. I'm sure GOP would've done the same (or even been more lenient, like taking the blame for the server themselves as a part of their anti-Clinton propaganda). Y'all are so right!

Bernie is truly terrible.

Bernie talking about Hillary's emails wouldn't work in the democratic primary imo, it is much more of something that should come from her Republican rivals. I dont know if it is a partisan issue, but it seems like it is. I mean, we saw what happened during the Telemundo debate when the moderator brought up Benghazi and the Democratic audience there was upset. He is much more effective talking about Wall Street speeches and even that is on the line imo.

Hillary has more votes than any other candidate on either side and that is without Bernie supporters.

I'm sure that has nothing to do with the Democratic primary starting with 3 candidates and GOP starting with 12.

okay then let me go into a little more depth for you since you think Donald is such a WINNER.

1) as of now the republican part is scrambling to prevent Donald from getting the nomination. Supporters of Rubio, Ted Cruz and Kasich all despise Donald and many have vowed to not vote for him in the GE if he wins the nomination.

2) Trump will go in the GE with the highest unfabvorabilty ratings among women (70%) and minorities than any other nominee in modern history. No nominee has ever won the presidency without the women vote.

3) Every day Donald say something that angers and isolates another key voting demographic. Whether its his misstep on women getting punished for abortions, his racial remarks about Mexicans and muslims or his very ignorant stance about nuclear proliferation.

I never said GE will be bad for Hillary, but her competition will be much harder on her. And #3 is kind of my point. He says all this stupid **** and still ends up on top while Hillary's reputation is much more prone to take serious damage if she ****s up.

Also, the main point of my rant is that people who think that Bernie is attacking her campaign more than the GOP candidate will - when Bernie is anything but - are delusional.

But the GOP has been attacking Hillary for months since she announced and she is still beating their frontrunner at the moment. Arguably, they have not been attacking Bernie with the same fervour.

Either way, it will be a mud fight come the fall for whoever the nominee will be.

Still minimum wage debate?

I've said a million times, minimum wage jobs are not meant to be a career, and are not supposed to sustain a family.
They are for fast food, and young adults who have time on the side to make extra money flipping burgers and serving coffee.

I just can't fathom an IT supervisor making roughly the same amount of money a coffee boy is making without a high school diploma.

anyway @sasha: I agree that Hillary's missteps might damage her more but she simply has more support from the key voting demographics than Trump and I don't think any GOP attacks during the GE will change that.

Well mostly because we don't have two nominees yet. I mean yeah it'll be Clinton (if she isn't indicted) but it's still too early for that kind of talk . I'm not even sure on the republican side it'll be Trump
