The OC. The scene where Marisa shot Trey was more iconic than anything in the other two shows alone.

Only finished The OC. Most of the first 2 seasons was awesome.

Love all 3 but this is true. even SNL parodied it and it was a meme again just last year.

As overall shows tho in terms of content and storylines, I think One Tree Hill is better although The OC is my favorite.

To be fair, Season 3 was the most tragic season, the Johnny plotline just dragged on too long. Season 4 was actually way better, but the show really couldn't be saved anymore, after the mess they made in Season 3.

Just the soundtrack alone gives me the chills. The OC >>>>>>

One Tree Hill... although it was extremely corny and cheesy at times, I think overall the storylines were far more superior than The OC and Gossip Girl. And they were more formative and went far beyond just young kids hooking up and having meaningless high school drama.

OTH > OC > GG

The OC >>>>Gossip girl >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the other is really bad

The OC and Gossip girl were also praised by critics for certain aspects... The OC for the humour and dialogue, GG for Blair
They also created 2 big it girls....Misha barton and blake

The OC was also revolutionary for having a popular geek main character.. after it seth cohens flood the TV...

OTH was just another teen drama with very bad acting and boring plot...

do i even have to mention the music and fashion of OC and GG....

The OC is the only one out of the 3 that i watched till the end. I gave up on oth after the time jump and got bored of GG by the 2nd season.
