why?

I guess because the ratings were bad? Never saw it, but if you can't survive on CW, which is probably by far the worst channel in terms of quality, then yikes

Beats me it's their only good show. Most of their shows that weren't from the WB (Smallville etc.) were trash

It started off really well, but then they took a long-ass hiatus (during the writers' strike) that truly hurt the ratings. It was rather expensive to make so they had to cancel.
