It's definitely a risk for men, since there is no current test to see if men have it. That's what's so bad about it. HPV can cause genital warts in men and it's been linked to throat cancer for men who frequently have oral sex with other men.

I'm not necessarily scared of it, it's the least serious STD you can have. I honestly would live with HPV before HIV tbh. If you get it, just go to the doctor and get it under control.
It's always been my understanding that it's much more serious for women than it is men but it's still not something you'd want to take lightly, I suppose.
