X Factor 2007 winner Leona Lewis is on crutches after falling from her horse. The singer is being treated from suspected torn ligaments, according to reports.
Lewis was in Los Angeles when her horse stared to gallop too quickly and she fell, says The Sun.
The 24-year-old was taken to hospital where she was treated and given crutches.
An insider told the newspaper that she had been spotted `hobbling' near her home in Hollywood.
They said: "She went to accident and emergency.
"It was pretty scary. She had quite a tumble.
"But it hasn't put her off riding. She's fine and will be back on her horse soon."
Leona Lewis could soon be in line for a Hollywood movie career.
The singer recently recorded the theme tune for James Cameron's new film Avatar.
She is said to have impressed the director so much that he is considering casting her in a film.
A source told Showbiz Spy: "James is well known for casting strong females in his films and he sees that quality in Leona.
"She has made quite an impression in Hollywood and James is one of a number of people interested in developing her performance skills for film."
