Two men have been arrested on burglary charges after being outwitted by quick-thinking children on an Easter egg hunt.
The kids aged between six and 12 formed the shape of an arrow to point a passing Police helicopter in the direction of the two thieves.
The astonishing incident happened in a Surrey village.
A police helicopter had been scrambled after reports of a burglary at a building near the village of Capel.
As police scoured nearby fields for the fleeing suspects, a group of eight children made sure the officers could not go wrong.
The group, aged between six and 12, and on an Easter hunt, laid down in a field in the shape of an arrow to show police where the fleeing men were.
Police then used a thermal camera to discover one of the men hiding in a nearby bush. (
