It all kicked off when Zayn replied to a fan’s question on Twitter, telling them that Pillowtalk was the first song he wrote on his Mind Of Mine album. Retweeting the message, Naughty Boy tagged Anthony and Michael Hannides (the writers and producers behind Pillowtalk) and added a big old ‘LOL’.
The musician then added to the shade with a classic sub-tweet, posting: “Credit where credit is due.” Naturally, it wasn’t long until Zayn’s fans started having a go, which probably only made the situation worse, as Naughty then tweeted (and deleted) the threat.
If there's a demo version of Like I Would it doesn't mean Zayn didn't write it. The only way to prove he didn't was to have it registered years ago or with a track that was done years ago.
Artists write songs and have demo singers all the time, especially if they're working with the melody or writing to the melody.
