I need to gain a few pounds too.
It's hard to cuz I don't have the appetite most of the time.

Since when is peanut butter healthy? It's awful.
Eat a lot, it doesn't have to be unhealthy.
Large healthy breakfast (oatmeal, muesli, but not cereals, corn flakes, granola and that sort of rubbish)
Large lunch * dinner (so many options)
Snack in between. Can allow semi-unhealthy stuff in here.
Eat bananas, drink protein shakes, go to gym.
It's not easy, but it's not as hard as losing weight I would imagine.

^ peanut butter is fairly healthy because its fat content is dominated primarily by mono- and polyunsaturated fats. Most are also low in sugar and high in protein.
It's only downfall is its high calorie content, but in the context of this thread that's good, not bad.

Anyway, if you're chronically underweight it means you're chronically under eating. The best way to combat this would be to start counting calories to make sure you're eating enough.

Eat carbs.
Pasta, bread, cereals, etc.

Sounds like the biggest mission ever tbh. I have an eating disorder that I've been half oblivious to and half aware of that I've been working through so I feel like the whole gaining weight isn't going to as easily as I want it to. I've been trying to stuff my face with carbs for the last two weeks and I don't see any change. I think I'll start taking protein shakes in addition to eating carbs
I wanna get from 110 to 140-150lbs by the end of the year.

And try to keep them healthy, like instead of McDonalds you could say peanut butter or something is what I mean. Basically fattening foods that aren't dangerous to health.
I know I'm not the only one who has gone through something like this so feel free to share your stories!

The problem is that people are terrible judges of how much they're eating. An underweight person "stuffing his face" may not even be enough to gain weight because he's accustomed to not eating enough his whole life.
The ONLY way to be sure that you're eating enough to gain weight is to track it.
I used to not count my calories and wondered why I wasn't seeing much progress in the gym. Turns out despite me "eating a lot" I was undercutting my calories by anywhere from 500 - 1000 a day.

not people here saying "eat more"
I'm also struggling with gaining weight (but i'm not really underweight), and I eat A LOT
Honestly nothing really helped me, but my dietitian said nuts will help (it didn't affect me, but you can try it)

you need alot of protein basically every kind of meat (although keep the red meat lower and focus on white meat), cheese, dairy. Carbs are important too. Eat rice/pasta with every single meal.
-try and get like chicken/fish sandwiches as snacks. You want 3 big meals and 3 light but still proper meals (not cereals)
-you're gonna want a protein shake every single day and drink loads of milk as well
- also focus on short intensive excercises, such as sprinting, cardio, TRX rather than long ones like running for ages as these build muscle rather than making you lose weight

Lol, you're definitely not "eating a lot"
You're probably (like virtually everyone) a terrible judge of how much you're eating
It's not possible to eat a lot and not see any metabolic effects

Organic Peanut Butter is good for you...it doesn't have the Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil in it.
Eggs, Fish, Avocado, and Almonds also help if you intend on lifting weights.

Use this. It's literally the easiest way to gain weight and its subjectively healthy. 1,250 calories for 50 grams.

I eat so much and I never gain weight. It's not that I'm not a good judge. I purposely eat crap all the time and eat a ton of it. People always comment on how much I eat. And nothing happens. It's so annoying
