The Big Bang Theory usually gets like 2-3 million viewers on E4, so 595,000 for Empire isn't bad considering.

Empire is suffering because the writing got really bad (even though it was always very soapy and OTT) and it feels cringey at times watching it. It was never that big in the UK though.

The ratings for the UK are pretty good tbh... I'd say one of the more popular shows on E4. I don't watch it, but know plenty of people who do here
