I've said on previous threads I feel that the UK chart formula is the best way to include streaming in album charts. I think the Billboard system is flawed as, for example, Uptown Special literally only got a T10 placing because of the Uptown Funk single streams as the song was massive at the time - yet the album was barely even T40 on pure sales. That to me is an unfair chart placing, clearly boosted by the success of the single. The OCC deliberately down-weigh the streams of the two most popular album tracks in line with the rest of them to prevent situations like that from happening.
And before people say 'but if your fav was #1 on streaming but #200 on pure sales, you'd be praising it!!!1' - no, I wouldn't. As I said above, I know that streaming is going to be included in the chart whether I like it or not, but it still doesn't stop me from thinking the system they use is flawed, whether my fave is #1 or #200.
And to some of you bringing 'Anti' into it - even if 'Work' streams were removed, or they followed the UK chart formula, 'Anti' would still be T10, maybe even T5 and STILL nowhere near as much of a flop as some of you are making it out to be.
