Gwen is an icon who has stood the test of time and can land #1 albums almost 25 years after her début with No Doubt.

Zayn hasn't proven himself and is just riding the coattails of One Direction and the 'shiny new solo artist' hype.

I honestly dont get the comparison. Zayn comes from a boyband in wich he had to share the spotlight with other 4 members, they were sold to the GP as One Direction. Instead, No Doubt was all about Gwen and it was sold to the GP as Gwen's band.

The GP does not know who Zayn is. Harry was the only member who was quite known.

One album is genuine material, the other is a tryhard snoozefest.

If Gwen had more radio support, she would of matched Zayn's numbers or surpassed them.
