I've read that Europeans think American chocolate (especially Hershey's) tastes like puke. I've never understood that
Hershey's used to be so good like 15 years ago. They had a distinct flavour from other generic chocolate brands and some light bitterness into them, but now they're a disgustingly sweet sugary mess
I like Hershey's and I'm British. But I bought some Hershey's kisses and they tasted completely different and like vomit from the bar that I'd bought. They were both the same flavour
Godiva & Goplana (a cheap Polish chocolate, severely underrated). Also Studentska and Toblerone.
The most overrated one is Lindt. Literally grease and sugar with no distinguishable flavour
I would know cause I hauled in Aachen last year & I ate like 3kg of this ****, I basically tested every flavour existing.
UK & US chocolates are disgusting.
Godvia chocolate and Lindt I paid £12 for two bars of Godvia chocolate when I went to London last year, but it was so worth it and Lindt's sea salt chocolate bar, also their chilli and chocolate bar
EDIT: Not me getting the name wrong, I've always called it Godvia but it's actually Godiva
