Okay before anyone starts, I know this thread has been done so many times but my spotify student discount is about to run out so I'm going to have to pay full price soon .. I had apple music a while ago but I didn't get on with it (it was when it first came out) but now I'm thinking about giving it another shot. Right now currently what is better? And don't be biased and just say the one you have tell me why. Thanks

I like Apple Music better but I switched back to Spotify because of the student discount.

Yes but I prefer to support music by funding people and £10 is not that much considering how much work goes into certain music

Spotify is MUCH better. It hasn't given me a single issue. Well, There are very annoying times where it takes songs a while to start, but thats actually the fault of Sprint, not Spotify.

Apple Music however ALWAYS has an issue. There are times where the app just freezes with the white background of Apple Music ,but nothing to display. Not even giving me the option to play the music I myself downloaded and put into iTunes. If I don't need an internet connection to listen to songs I personally downloaded, WHY must they give such a hard time? It also seems much slower than Spotify imo.

He could've gotten the answers from those threads. But its totally subjective, they offer the same amount of music and anything missing could be added by the user. So really he's not gonna get much help regardless.

Spotify is $5 so that.

Apple Music, especially if you want your music to be available across multiple Apple devices.

It's worth the $10 a month. Also, the interface is a lot nicer than Spotify, the music has better quality, and you can edit and taylor your personal music library to however you want it to look with album covers, names, etc.

I thought I'd post now though In case anything has changed within both streaming services that I am not aware of? Sorry if this thread has made you angry? :L

Spotify for streaming.

iTunes for the music that I bought and my library in general, I prefer keep them separate.

Spotify - playlists are superior and gives good recommendations. Artists/latest albums might be withheld but I'm sure you can work around that problem

Apple music is a bit unstable, I tend to encounter loading issues quite often. Playlists suck. Overall it does the job quite okay. I don't know about the iCloud library thing where it messes up the library since I keep that off, but I think it is still filled with problems.

I subscribe to apple music, but don't use it on any apple products so that may not be an accurate experience.
