They spent 400 million for production and marketing.
Check Deadline.com. They did a countdown of the most profitable movies not too long ago. And they put up quite realistic statistics about how the cinema gross is split up.
Studios don't get all the gross - which makes sense since the cinemas have to pay their people as well etc,
So, grossing 400 million is not all the way by far.
