They are just not appealing to me at all, maybe it's because they seem very young. I liked Yang Meng's scenes, he was funny and I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more of him and his backstory, and the other one was good 'cause he created friction and jealousy between Gu Hai and Luo Yin, but I feel like them together as a couple could take a bit of the uniqueness of Gu Hai ad Bai Luo Yin's relationship on the show.
That's just me, and I don't mind that much
as long as they don't take too much screentime
