Music stans are more vicious with their words and behind a computer screen. You're not going to find people physically fighting over their faves or something.
Sports fans are sometimes quite aggressive. I've found myself in many situations like these since I'm a passionate supporter of my local soccer team. But being a soccer fan and attending the matches, with the whole atmosphere, it's the best feeling in the world.
