I think Nicki will go down as the most successful one for her features but people won't forget that artists like Missy, Kim, Lauryn, Queen la paved that way. I doubt people will really remember her albums the way they do for a Missy, Kim, Lauryn, Salt n pepa etc.
I think people will remember more of her features and discredit her for simply being on so many songs like Lil wayne and not give her enough credit for her solo work because the quality is memorable aspects of that part of her career aren't top 3 of what people think of with her.
When people think of Lauryn it's almost like this goddess that infused so many musical elements well and her album can't and won't be touched. When they think of Missy they think of her uniqueness, memorable songs, visuals. With Kim it's her ability to slay her own songs solo or featured as well as slay features. Sex symbol, ahead of her time fashion but unfortunately her bad plastic surgery and her insisting on dragging out the beef with Nicki tarnishes that BUT when a Kim song comes on...whew young and old can't deny that she actually made solid hip hop music
Often times people forget the originators but because Nicki used so much from the past and wasn't able to bring anything innovative, new and fresh to the table by default people will remember Kim, Missy, Queen la, Salt n pepa for doing it right and well for their time
