I do see your point, however I have to disagree.

I think the majority of millennials are suckers for gimmicks and over-the-top acts. You only have to look at something like Nicki's Anaconda video views to see how easily entertained this generation is.

The Queen of Pop has been making people uncomfortable and has been labelled as being a bad influence since Like A Virgin came out. People have been saying she has ruined her brand and her career for the duration of her career. I doubt a cute little bop will severely damage the 30+ year billion dollar brand Madonna has single-handedly built. I'm glad she continues to be true to herself and her art after all these years and the never ending backlash. Only the Queen of Pop can be "irrelevant" and still cause so much conversation about her "antics". Queen tbh

Madonna is a legend and hardworker. She's an inspiration. Who the hell cares if she doesn't have a #1 this decade.

Madonna was always like that, sexual, provocative, attention seeking, making bold statements etc. Its just her age that makes people uncomfortable. I applaud her for staying true to herself and refusing to "tone it down", she is doing what she wants to do despite all the media pressuring her to "act her age" because she is "damaging her brand" and other bull****. Noone can take away her achievements and while they are crucifying her now, she will be given the credit and respect she deserves as soon as she passes away like it is with every legend. People just don't value what they have until its gone...

I agree with this. It's a shame, Madonna has such a great back catalog and she dilutes it with either mediocrity or total garbage constantly nowadays. Some of the clips I've seen of her recent shows... Mess.
