Probably USians. The English are more reserved and unwilling to be overly familiar with strangers.

Americans are far more polite. Us Brits are notoriously cold and grumpy, and that's the way I like it

Although when I went to Europe last summer i was pleasantly surprised by how helpful and nice the English were, its the Parisians who are downright rude and snobbish.

English people are rude but say sorry after every sentence, so idk.
