As a journalist, it's about location. Sadly most people only care about Western society. One thing that proves this is that if a horrific event happens in the West, pictures published online and in newspapers are conservative and not bloody/deadly, but you're more likely to see more horrific pictures about killings in places such as the Middle East because people just don't care as much. It's sad to think about.

Ok but that was the "Western World's" fault
America disenfranchised Iraq when they invaded it. Wrongfully so.
