As if we didn't already know that NeNe Leakes is the queen of reality TV (lies ), the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star has solidified her thrown with a massive pay raise.

Executives reportedly offered Leakes, 48, a whopping $2.5 million to return to the shade-throwing drama.

Though producers and executives tried to make up for the absence of Leakes by adding Kim Fields and returning housewife, Sheree Whitfield, to the mix, ratings reportedly failed to live up to the hype.

“Kim [Fields] was not good,” a source said. “The show needed NeNe to make her interesting, and they know that.”

Leakes, however, has been holding out on taking any offers in an alleged attempt to get as much cash as possible.

Nene is only acceptable in small dosis, like this season, no one wants the MESS that was Season 7 repeat. Hopefully if she is back she'll continue trying to be a bit more humble.

i used to really like her in beginning seasons but she's just been nauseating ever since Kenya and Porsha came on.

I'm not seeing Season 7. I'm seeing season 5 whichever season where she had jobs and was just enough sass but likable.

People are pretty much taking part 1 of the reunion and beginning rumors about salaries and returns when pick up letters are in the summer and negotiations don't occur during the reunion.

A good rumor never hurt anyone.

Yet the producers have been milking her heavily, for someone who was only in a few episodes. A spot on the reunion, confessionals & her return was heavily promoted.

But you can continue to deny her impact.

She's insufferable but I understand why they would want her back.

I just read it. they were claiming she was a ratings magnet. the ratings didn't surge when she returned nor did they surge when she had a breakthrough at part 3 of the reunion (it actually declined).

Here for season 5 Nene returning but I asked earlier about the main source and no one wanted to say Radar online because of their credibility of making tabloid things as stories

Seeing Kim and then seeing Porsha be more apart of the season makes you see how important Nene is to the show. I just hope she doesn't give us season 6 or 7 nene

Doubt this is true. Ratings remained high because of Kenya. No need for her on the show, she should try auditioning for some cable sitcoms. Kenya was more entertaining, as well as prettier and smarter than Nene and her Walmart wigs
