Discussion: Why is ATRL sexist?

Azealia Banks just released her new mixtape cover for Slay-Z.

Many started citing the #FreeTheNipple campaign as having some influence over the cover art, although Azealia herself has yet to say anthing. The #FreeTheNipple campaign is a feminist social media trend that is designed to oppose the female objectification of the body in the media and promote equality of the sexes by normalizing the site of the female torso, much in the way that a man's torso is not considered lewd.

Yet, when someone posted the photo of Azealia's cover, the thread was reported and closed. So my question is this: Why is ATRL sexist and/or why do they allow themselves to be dictated to sexist advertisers?

Here is a censored version of Azealia's album since apparently a woman's torso is enough to get a thread closed.

I don't have an issue with nipples.

However, we want to be safe for work... And sadly, in this society, that means we don't allow any form of nudity (or what this society considers nudity) on ATRL.

We use an ad provider which has a strict policy against nudity. We'd lose our ad provider.

I can see why the admins wouldn't want to have that image posted. The site depends on ad revenue and a good number of ignorant people in the world still have an issue with women's breasts.

Just ask Janet or any woman who has "dared" breastfeed her child in public.
